Which Length of Hair Extensions Do I Need?
Here’s the truth: Not every hair length is suitable for every person.
Why?
✅ Extensions add weight.
✅ Super long hair requires strong, healthy natural hair to support it.
✅ Overloading short or fine hair with long extensions can cause tension and breakage.
Our general rule:
→ Your extensions should be no more than 3–4 inches longer than your natural hair for the most seamless, healthy result.
Example:
- If your natural hair is 16″ → best to choose 18″ or 20″ extensions.
How Do I Measure My Hair Length?
Here’s how to check your current hair length:
- Take a tape measure.
- Place it about 2.5 cm (1 inch) above your ear.
- Measure straight down to where your hair ends.
This gives you a realistic idea of how long extensions will fall compared to your natural length.
Straight, Wavy, or Curly — Does It Matter?
Yes — texture affects how long your extensions appear.

No — each strand is pre-bonded with keratin and cannot be cut. Trimming should only be done after installation to shape the final style, not through the tip itself.

Each strand is secured using a small micro ring or copper tube. The client’s natural hair and the I-Tip strand are threaded through the ring, then clamped in place — no heat or glue required.
Q: Are I-Tips suitable for beginners?
Not recommended. Accurate placement and tension control are required to ensure a secure fit and avoid discomfort or slippage.
Q: Can I choose which type of bead to use?
Yes — I-Tips can be applied using a range of beads (silicone-lined, copper, or aluminium). If you have a preferred fitting method, feel free to note it at checkout or message us before ordering.
Q: Can I reuse I-Tips?
Yes — with proper removal and re-bonding, I-Tip hair can be reused several times. Make sure to use new beads for each fitting and follow correct aftercare between installs.
Colouring & Styling
Q: Can I-Tips be coloured or toned?
Yes — they can be coloured or toned by a professional. Always perform a strand test first and avoid applying colour directly on the keratin bond.
Q: Can I use heat tools on I-Tips?
Yes — the hair is heat-safe up to 180°C. Always use a heat protectant and avoid applying direct heat to the bonded tip.

Each 100g set includes approx. 100 strands.
